Hello Ridge Families! Can you believe that we have ANOTHER snow day?! As much as it's nice being able to spend some time working from home today, I have to say I'm a little sad that I can't be with my boys and girls. We had planned on setting a leprechaun trap before we left class for music today. Leprechauns are typically only out and about on St. Patrick's Day. They are very fast and tricky little creatures. We were hoping to snag one today and see if we could convince him to lead us to his pot of gold. Unfortunately, the snow has put a damper on our plans. If you're looking for a fun way to keep your child busy while cooped up inside, consider helping him/her to create his/her own trap. Try using basic materials around the house (string, cereal boxes, etc.) Be sure that you have something fun to lure the leprechaun into your trap. Our class talked about using chocolate coins, "Lucky Charms," or different kinds of shiny objects. Comment below and let me know how your traps come out!
